Craig Howie

President & Chief Executive Officer

Craig was named President and Chief Executive Officer of Atlantic Community Bancshares, Inc. and its subsidiary, Atlantic Community Bankers Bank (ACBB), in January 2020. Previously, he held the same title at BBN Financial Corporation and its bank subsidiary, Bankers’ Bank Northeast (BBN) in Glastonbury, Connecticut. Prior to joining the bankers’ bank industry, Craig spent over 22 years with Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh, where he was Group Director, Member Services; Chief Credit Officer and Director of the Member Money Desk. He started his career in the mortgage banking industry with GMAC Mortgage in secondary marketing. Craig holds a master’s degree in business administration from Drexel University and a bachelor’s in business administration with emphases in finance and marketing from Susquehanna University.

Dave Brown

Executive Vice President & Chief Credit Officer

Dave oversees all aspects of the ACBB’s Lending Division. He is also the Managing Director of ACBB’s Advisory Services Division, which provides loan review, outsourced credit, expert witness testimony, compliance and BSA education, and other related services. Dave has 35+ years of banking experience specializing in risk management including loan review, commercial lending, loan workout, due diligence, compliance, ALLL policies and procedures, and commercial underwriting. Dave graduated from Babson College with a master’s in business administration after receiving his bachelor’s in business administration from the University of Maine. He has also completed postgraduate studies at Boston University in commercial real estate management.

Drew Kishbaugh

Executive Vice President & Chief Operations Officer

Drew currently serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer for ACBB. Drew is responsible for the oversight and strategic direction of payment operations, deposit operations, client care and onboarding. Prior to joining ACBB, Drew served as the President and Chief Executive Officer at MY CU Services, a credit union service organization (CUSO), where he was responsible for providing leadership to position the company for further growth and viability. Drew has over 35 years of experience in the financial industry, where he has held several senior and executive management positions within retail and operations. Drew received his education from Millersville University.

Drew currently serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer for ACBB. Drew is responsible for the oversight and strategic direction of payment operations, deposit operations, client care and onboarding. Prior to joining ACBB, Drew served as the President and Chief Executive Officer at MY CU Services, a credit union service organization (CUSO), where he was responsible for providing leadership to position the company for further growth and viability. Drew received his education from Millersville University.

Joseph R. Krzywicki, CTP

Executive Vice President & Chief Banking Officer

Joe leads the business units primarily responsible for employee experience and client experience. He oversees human resources and the noninterest income generating operations, which encompass strategy, product management, marketing, relationship sales, and strategic partnerships. His experience spans over 30 years, serving in leadership roles with a national financial institution, a private university, and a specialized consulting firm. Joe is a graduate of Villanova University and the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking. He worked, studied, and taught at the University of Scranton. He served as a faculty member in the PA Bankers School of Commercial Lending and sits on various community-focused boards.

Melissa Hartman, CPA

Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer & Treasurer

Melissa oversees financial reporting, liquidity and funding, and investment portfolio management. She began her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the financial services industry. After public accounting, she gained banking experience in various accounting roles within local community banks. Melissa joined ACBB in 2021 as the Chief Accounting Officer and now serves as the Bank’s Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer and is a member of ALCO. She has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Juniata College and is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Pennsylvania.

Rich Thompson

Executive Vice President & Chief Technology Officer

Rich oversees information technology and project management. He is responsible for the technology and data vision and leadership to maintain a competitive advantage in the marketplace, identifying opportunities to deliver transformative solutions. Rich is skilled at aligning technology and business strategies to increase operational effectiveness. Rich has 35+ years of experience in the financial services industry driving innovative solutions, establishing core processes across the IT lifecycle, and mobilizing global technology organizations to deliver on crucial business strategies. Prior to joining ACBB, Rich served as the Enterprise Chief Technology Officer at Bloomberg BNA, where he led the architecture and technology strategy and oversaw key mergers and acquisitions. During his time there, he most notably architected the integration of disparate and outdated platforms, delivering an industry-leading modern solution. Before this, Rich held various leadership roles at Bloomberg, LP and Smith Barney.

Willie Maddox, CPA, CGMA, CRCM, CAMS, CRMA

Executive Vice President & Chief Risk Officer

Willie joined the Bank in 2019 and oversees the enterprise risk management and compliance functions in addition to the internal audit relationship of the Bank. She is responsible for the leadership, governance, and management to identify, evaluate, mitigate, and monitor the Bank’s risk profile. Willie chairs the Bank’s Risk Management Committee. Willie brings over 30 years of experience in banking. She serves as a Mid-Atlantic Alliance for Performance Excellence (MAAPE) Examiner, a Baldrige-based awards program that serves Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware. Willie is a former Distinguished Lecturer of Law at Case Western Reserve University School of Law. She taught in the Master of Arts in Financial Integrity degree program, an in-depth curriculum offering students a unique and comprehensive education in anti-money laundering, counterterrorism, and related integrity initiatives. Willie received her master’s degree in business administration from the University of Chicago and a bachelor’s degree from Lakeland College.
