Craig was named President and Chief Executive Officer of Atlantic Community Bancshares, Inc. and its subsidiary, Atlantic Community Bankers Bank (ACBB), in January 2020. Previously, he held the same title at BBN Financial Corporation and its bank subsidia… Craig was named President and Chief Executive Officer of Atlantic Community Bancshares, Inc. and its subsidiary, Atlantic Community Bankers Bank (ACBB), in January 2020. Previously, he held the same title at BBN Financial Corporation and its bank subsidiary, Bankers’ Bank Northeast (BBN) in Glastonbury, Connecticut. Prior to joining the bankers’ bank industry, Craig spent over 22 years with the Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh, where he was Group Director, Member Services, Chief Credit Officer, and Director of the Member Money Desk. He started his career in the mortgage banking industry with GMAC Mortgage in secondary marketing. Craig serves on the American Bankers Association’s Correspondent Bank Working Group and the Pennsylvania Bankers Association’s Board of Directors. He holds a master’s degree in business administration from Drexel University, an executive certificate in accounting from the University of Pittsburgh, and a bachelor’s in business administration with emphases in finance and marketing from Susquehanna University.

Dave Brown

Dave oversees all aspects of ACBB’s Lending Division. He has 35+ years of banking experience in risk management, including commercial lending, loan review, loan workout, due diligence, compliance, ACL policies and procedures, and commercial underwriting. … Dave oversees all aspects of ACBB’s Lending Division. He has 35+ years of banking experience in risk management, including commercial lending, loan review, loan workout, due diligence, compliance, ACL policies and procedures, and commercial underwriting. Dave has been engaged as an expert witness in 13 commercial loan litigations. He spent 19 years in various commercial banks, mainly in commercial credit. Dave started and operated a risk management consulting business for nine years before merging with ACBB. Dave graduated from Babson College with a master’s in business administration after receiving his bachelor’s in business administration from the University of Maine at Orono. He also completed postgraduate studies in commercial real estate management at Boston University. He has been the keynote speaker at RMA New England LORS programs, ALLL and model validation speaker for Sageworks, and risk management speaker for the Massachusetts Bankers Association.

He is responsible for the oversight and strategic direction of information technology, payment operations, deposit operations, client care, and onboard… Drew serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer/Chief Technology Officer for ACBB. He is responsible for the oversight and strategic direction of information technology, payment operations, deposit operations, client care, and onboarding. Prior to joining ACBB, Drew served as the president and chief executive officer at MY CU Services, a credit union service organization (CUSO), where he was responsible for providing leadership to position the company for further growth and viability. Drew has over 40 years of experience in the financial industry, where he has held several senior and executive management positions within retail, operations, and information technology. He received his education from Millersville University.

From a leadership perspective, Joe also plays an important role in strategi… Joe leads the business units responsible for revenue operations and client experience, including product management, marketing, sales, strategic partnerships, and human resources. From a leadership perspective, Joe also plays an important role in strategic planning, mergers, and acquisitions and supports ACBB’s journey in adopting the EOS process. His experience spans over 30 years, serving in leadership roles with a national financial institution, a private university, and a specialized consulting firm. Joe is a graduate of Villanova University and the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking. He also worked, studied, and taught at the University of Scranton. He served as a faculty member in the PA Bankers School of Commercial Lending and sits on various community-focused boards.
Melissa Hartman, CPA

She began her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the financial services industry. After public accounting, she gained banking experience in various accounting roles within local community banks. Melissa joined ACBB in 2021 as the Chief Accounting Officer and now serves as the Bank’s Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer and is a member of ALCO. She is also active with the Pennsylvania Bankers Association, serving on various committees. She has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Juniata College, where she is a member of the Juniata Advisory Board. Melissa is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Pennsylvania.

She is responsible for the leadership, governance, and management to identify, evaluate, mitigate, and monitor the Bank’s risk profile. Willie chairs the Bank’s Risk Management Committee. Willie brings over 30 years of experience in banking. She serves as a Mid-Atlantic Alliance for Performance Excellence (MAAPE) Examiner, a Baldrige-based awards program that serves Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware. Willie is a former Distinguished Lecturer of Law at Case Western Reserve University School of Law. She taught in the Master of Arts in Financial Integrity degree program, an in-depth curriculum offering students a unique and comprehensive education in anti-money laundering, counterterrorism, and related integrity initiatives. Willie received her master’s degree in business administration from the University of Chicago and a bachelor’s degree from Lakeland College.

Tom provides leadership and direction to ACBB’s risk and compliance subsidiary, Shatswell MacLeod, which provides various service offerings to client banks and credit unions, including outsourced internal audit and regulatory compliance solutions, BSA ser… Tom provides leadership and direction to ACBB’s risk and compliance subsidiary, Shatswell MacLeod, which provides various service offerings to client banks and credit unions, including outsourced internal audit and regulatory compliance solutions, BSA services, FDICIA/SOX testing, loan review, and compliance education, among other services. Tom began his career in public accounting and moved on to a banking career that spanned 35 years. During that time, Tom has served as an audit manager, compliance officer, and general auditor before he joined Shatwell MacLeod in 1999 to start its internal services division, which grew from a startup practice to a market leader in its “New England and beyond” footprint. He took ownership of Shatswell MacLeod in 2015 and merged his company with ACBB in 2024. Tom is a certified public accountant.
